Harbaugh has another challenge for Carroll

SEATTLE -- San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh finally did the ice bucket challenge, but he didn’t do it from Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll’s challenge.

“I’ve got another challenge with him,” Harbaugh said of Carroll’s challenge. “I think you know what one that is: The Big One.”

Carroll did the ice bucket challenge -- to raise awareness for ALS and fundraising -- on Tuesday after he was challenged by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and USC coach Steve Sarkisian.

Carroll then challenged the three other coaches in the NFC West. Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians and St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher did the challenge the next day, but not Harbaugh.

“As far as I know, there was still one left out there to complete the circle,” Carroll said after practice Thursday.

That finally happened Friday, but Harbaugh was accepting the ice bucket challenge from his brother, Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh.
