NFLN survey/Super Bowl QB: Seahawks
By Terry Blount
NEW YORK -- Most of the Seattle Seahawks voters disagreed with their NFL colleagues and selected Denver’s Peyton Manning over New England’s Tom Brady as the quarterback they would want at the two–minute warning and the Super Bowl on the line.
Brady won the overall NFL Nation Confidential vote, but six of the 10 Seattle voters chose Manning. Brady received three votes from the Seahawks and Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers got one vote.
Several of the Seahawks voters said they would select their quarterback, Russell Wilson, if they could have voted for him.
