Looking in around the conference:

* Talk about an odd combination, but LSU coach Les Miles and rapper Snoop Dogg hook up in some classic video courtesy of WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge. Seriously, some must-see video here.  Who says Miles is stiff in front of the camera?

* Robbie Andreu of The Gainesville Sun breaks down Ron Zook's final recruiting class at Florida, which was rated among the top classes in the country. What have the on-field results been?

* Suspended South Carolina quarterback Stephen Garcia is slated to begin practice with the rest of his teammates Friday.

* Tennessee is hoping for good news on the eligibility of two key transfers, tight end Brandon Warren and linebacker/defensive end Gerald Williams.

* Georgia offensive guard Clint Boling has DUI charges reduced and will now see if his two-game suspension is revised as well.

* Three suspended Mississippi State players plead guilty to misdemeanor, readmitted to school.
