LSU junior cornerback Patrick Peterson would prefer North Carolina to be at full strength Saturday night in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game.
But if the Tar Heels are indeed decimated by suspensions as a result of ongoing NCAA investigations, it's not going to change Peterson's outlook.
"It doesn’t affect us at all, because we prepared for North Carolina whether those guys play or not," Peterson said. "I wish them the best of luck, and what I hope is that they bring their ‘A’ team. But if they can’t play, that’s just their bad. We’ll go out there and do what we have to do.
"Whoever they put on the field, that’s who we’re prepared for. We’re not preparing for a certain quarterback or a certain receiver. We’re preparing for North Carolina."
