Don't forget about Tide's passing game

Maybe we spent too much time building up Alabama’s running game.

Greg McElroy reminded us in the first half Saturday night that the Crimson Tide can throw the ball pretty well, too.

Mark Ingram is a big part of this offense. But even when he’s not on the field, the Crimson Tide are capable of moving the ball in a variety of different ways.

McElroy started the game against San Jose State 8-of-9 against for 141 yards, throwing a 48-yard touchdown pass to Marquis Maze. Backup quarterback A.J. McCarron then took his turn and connected with Julio Jones on a 29-yard touchdown pass, as the Crimson Tide cruised into halftime with a 31-3 lead.

This has a chance to be one of Alabama's best passing attacks in years.
