South Carolina cracks AP poll

South Carolina moved into this week's Associated Press Top 25 poll following its 41-13 win over Southern Miss this past Thursday.

The Gamecocks are No. 24, marking the first time they've been ranked in the AP poll since the week of the Tennessee game last season when they were No. 21 and lost to the Vols on Halloween night, falling out of the poll for the rest of the season.

Seven SEC teams are ranked this week, led by No. 1 Alabama. Florida fell four spots to No. 8. Arkansas is No. 14, LSU No. 19, Auburn No. 21 and Georgia No. 22.
