LSU indoor practice facility damaged

BATON ROUGE, La. -- The folks in these parts have unfortunately cornered the market on nasty weather.

A storm packing high winds blew through here early Thursday morning, leaving people without power and peeling off part of the roof on the Tigers' indoor football complex.

LSU still plans to practice this afternoon and will try to get it in outside at the Charles McClendon Practice Facility if the rain holds off. If not, the Tigers will practice inside at the Maravich Assembly Center, which is where the Tigers normally play basketball.

There was also some damage to the soccer complex and the new Alex Box baseball stadium.

The Tigers are scheduled to start practice at 4:55 p.m. ET. I'll check back in following practice with a couple of updates.
