ATLANTA -- Usually, it's in the fourth quarter when Auburn comes up with all of its key defensive stops.
But the Tigers have held twice in the second quarter when the Gamecocks moved inside the Auburn 35.
The first one came after a Cam Newton fumble, and the second one came after a short punt and a South Carolina drive, which ended with Spencer Lanning missing a 51-yard field goal
For Auburn to hold South Carolina to no points on those two possessions was deflating for the Gamecocks.
