It was a productive day on the recruiting front for the national champion Auburn Tigers.
They picked up commitments from running back Tre Mason of Lake Worth, Fla., and defensive end Devaunte Sigler of Mobile, Ala.
The 5-9, 185-pound Mason is rated by ESPN as the No. 21 running back prospect in the country. His other finalists were Ole Miss and LSU. The 6-3, 245-pound Sigler is rated by ESPN as the No. 45 defensive end prospect in the country. He picked Auburn over Mississippi State.
The Tigers now have 22 verbal commitments. Their class is No. 9 nationally in ESPN's latest team rankings.
