Tide's Upshaw won't be suspended

We know now that Alabama linebacker Courtney Upshaw won't be suspended for his arrest on domestic violence/harassment.
Alabama coach Nick Saban made that announcement Thursday after practice.
According to the father of the girl involved in the incident with Upshaw, it was essentially her fault. She was arrested, too, by the way.
It's not every day that you hear a father come out and say that his daughter initiated a fight/argument with her boyfriend, especially one that borders on turning physical and leads to arrests.
What else makes the whole case bizarre is that there were differing accounts of Upshaw's role in the incident, as a sworn account by Sgt. Rusty Romine of the University of Alabama police department didn't match the one relayed to Dave Grzyb by his daughter and her friends.
Romine said in court documents obtained by The Mobile Press-Register that he saw Upshaw chase down Grzyb and he then "grabbed Grzyb by the back of the neck and hair with his right hand and pushed her downward in what appeared to be an attempt to push her to the ground."
