Alabama and Florida might not have been at the top of the SEC last season, but both schools are off to a very fast start in recruiting.

Alabama leads the SEC with 12 verbal commitments in its 2012 class, while the Gators are second with 11 pledges. They are the only two schools with double-digit commitments. The schools have combined for 18 commitments that are a part of the ESPNU 150 Watch List.

LSU is creeping up there with nine commitments in this class. Four of them are members of the ESPNU 150 Watch List.

Defending champion Auburn has five commitments, with three of them being members of the ESPNU 150 Watch List.

There are some teams struggling to pick up commitments. Tennessee has just two, but both are members of the ESPNU 150 Watch List. Mississippi State also has just two verbals.
