Our next player has a true knack for the ball and has led his team in tackles for three straight seasons:

No. 19: Jerry Franklin, LB, Arkansas

2010 numbers: In 13 starts last season, Franklin recorded 100 total tackles, including 13 for loss. He also had 6.5 sacks, five quarterback hurries, two pass breakups and forced a fumble in his third year at Arkansas.

Most recent ranking: Not ranked in the 2010 postseason countdown.

Making the case for Franklin: During his three years with the Razorbacks, Franklin has started in at least 12 games each season and has accumulated 281 tackles and 9.5 sacks. His 21.5 tackles for loss in his career are the most of any current Razorback. Franklin was named to the Butkus Award watch list and was a second-team All-SEC selection by the league's coaches last season after registering a career-high 100 tackles, becoming the second Arkansas player since 1960 to lead the team in tackles for three straight seasons. At 6-foot-1, 245 pounds, Franklin still has solid speed that allows him to cover a lot of ground.
