It looks like starting Jordan Rodgers was the right move after all for Vanderbilt.

Rodgers passed for 116 yards and a touchdown, and rushed for a game-high 73 yards and another score to give the Commodores a 23-6 lead over Army at the half.

Rodgers does have an interception, but he really has Vanderbilt's offense moving. The Commodores, who had been stuck in a rut on offense for most of the season, have 267 offensive yards, including 151 rushing.

It looks like that postgame skirmish at Georgia didn't take all of Vandy's energy away. It might have injected even more. If Rodgers gets on a roll and more comfortable on offense he might start throwing around his brother's patented celebration move in Nashville.
