How big is the Georgia game for Arkansas?
In Bobby Petrino’s way of thinking, it’s a game the Hogs have to win if they’re going to play any role in the Western Division race.
“For us to win a championship, we have to win all our home games,” Petrino said. “This is a game we’ve been looking forward to. We spent a lot of time in our preparation. We need to go out and play well and win the game.”
It’s no secret that the Hogs were game-planning for the Bulldogs well before this week. Petrino has mentioned that fact a couple of times now.
I agree with Petrino. This is a game that could propel the Hogs to a big season if they win it. But should they lose it -- when you look at that road schedule -- simply finishing above .500 could be a struggle.
Arkansas is the only team in the league this season that has to play Alabama, Florida, LSU and Ole Miss on the road.
