Now that the 2011 season is in the books, let’s take a quick look back at how everybody in the SEC did against FBS teams that finished the season with a winning record.

Auburn and LSU played the most games (10) against teams that finished the season with a winning record, while Florida and Vanderbilt tied for the fewest (six).

Here’s a rundown of the records:
  • LSU: 9-1
  • Alabama: 6-1
  • Arkansas: 5-2
  • South Carolina: 5-2
  • Auburn: 5-5
  • Georgia: 4-4
  • Kentucky: 1-6
  • Mississippi State: 1-6
  • Tennessee: 1-6
  • Florida: 0-6
  • Vanderbilt: 0-6
  • Ole Miss: 0-8

Over the last two seasons, LSU is 15-3, which leads the way in the SEC.

On the flip side, Vanderbilt is 0-12, which is the worst record in the league over the last two seasons against teams that finished the season with a winning record.
