Five SEC players are positioned in the top 15 in Mel Kiper Jr.'s latest Big Board of premier NFL draft prospects.
The other top 15 players from the SEC are Mississippi State defensive tackle Fletcher Cox at No. 13, South Carolina defensive end Melvin Ingram at No. 14 and LSU defensive tackle Michael Brockers at No. 15. Ingram has really helped himself this week with his performance during Senior Bowl practices and has likely solidified that he will go somewhere in the middle of the first round.
Other SEC players making Kiper's latest Big Board, which ranks the top 25 prospects in the draft, are Alabama outside linebacker Courtney Upshaw at No. 16, Georgia offensive tackle Cordy Glenn at No. 17, Alabama safety Mark Barron at No. 18 and Alabama cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick at No. 23.
Alabama is the only school in the country with four players on the Big Board. Stanford is second nationally with three.
