One of the reasons I believe Alabama to be the most complete football team in the SEC at this point is the Crimson Tide's ability to score points in a number of different ways.
Alabama wasn't what you would call crisp in a 38-20 win over Kentucky on Saturday, but once again the Tide proved how quickly they can score points.
They've now eclipsed 30 points for the fifth straight time to start the season, which marks the first time that has ever happened in Alabama football history and the first time it's happened during any stretch of a season since 1979.
Greg McElroy threw two more touchdown passes and again wasn't intercepted, and Mark Ingram rushed for a career-high 140 yards. But Alabama's special teams and defense also had a hand in the scoring or helped to set up scores.
The Tide can play better. That's for sure. But even when they're not on their A-game, they're capable of putting up big points.
