Thanks to the folks at ESPN Stats & Information, here’s a look at some of the drama we’ve seen in the Alabama-Ole Miss game the last four seasons. Alabama has won all four, but it hasn’t been easy:
2008 Alabama 24, Ole Miss 20
With Bama leading 24-3 in the third quarter, Ole Miss scores 17 unanswered points, but is stopped on fourth down with under a minute to go.
2007 Alabama 27, Ole Miss 24
An Ole Miss 41-yard pass play in the final seconds was overturned by replay, and Alabama held on for the victory.
2006 Alabama 26, Ole Miss 23 (OT)
After an Ole Miss field goal in overtime, John Parker Wilson hit Le’Ron McClain for a touchdown to give the Tide a three point win.
2005 Alabama 13, Ole Miss 10
Alabama’s Jamie Christensen hits a 31-yard field as time expires for the win.
