The Mississippi State folks aren't the only ones upset about a call from last weekend.
Vanderbilt had a go-ahead touchdown called back against Army with 1:01 to play in regulation and had to settle for a field goal, sending the game into overtime. Army won 16-13 in the extra period.
The play in question saw offensive pass interference called on receiver Udom Umoh for picking an Army defender, which nullified Alex Washington's 3-yard touchdown catch.
Vanderbilt coach Bobby Johnson said this week it was the wrong call and that Umoh was the one who was pushed.
"Their defensive back pushed Udom in the back … pushed him into their man," Johnson told The Tennessean. "They called a pick play on us. It was a poor call."
