SEC bowl projections: Week 1

Let's get this out of the way first: Bowl projections in August are a dicey proposition.

Players come and go. Just ask Auburn, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee. What's more, teams tend to look a lot different in November than they do in August.

Nonetheless, we'll take our shot at some preseason bowl projections in the SEC.

While everybody else around the country seems to be predicting that this will be the year that the SEC is finally shut out of the BCS National Championship Game, we're not buying it here at the SEC blog. Seeing is believing.

Here's our early look at the postseason lineup in the SEC:
