Tennessee freshman safety Janzen Jackson isn't expected to play Saturday against Memphis because of a suspension.
Jackson has been one of the SEC's most impressive true freshmen this season and has started the last seven games for the Vols at free safety.
Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin wouldn't comment about Jackson's availability for this weekend's game and said only, "I'll address it after the game."
Another true freshman, Darren Myles, could get the start in Jackson's place. Myles and redshirt freshman Prentiss Waggner split the first-team reps at free safety in practice Thursday.
