The movie “The Blind Side” is set to open in theaters on Nov. 20, a film depicting the life of former Ole Miss offensive tackle Michael Oher.

Several current and former SEC coaches will make their acting debuts in the movie. Nick Saban, Houston Nutt, Ed Orgeron, Lou Holtz, Tommy Tuberville and Phillip Fulmer all played themselves.

Saban, rigidly meticulous himself, was taken aback by the attention to detail in shooting the movie.

“I’m not ready to change professions or get rid of my day job to (get into acting). I can tell you that,” Saban joked. “But it was a wonderful experience.”

Saban said the professionalism of Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw was amazing in the way they helped everybody get through their parts.

“You don’t realize all the details involved,” said Saban, who’s still the LSU coach in the movie.
