South Carolina's putting it to Clemson right now with a 27-10 lead in the final minutes of the game.

Winning this game would give the Gamecocks some relief from a third straight late-season collapse. They lost their last three last season and their last five two years ago. They've also lost 10 of their last 12 to Clemson, which would make this one of Steve Spurrier's most important wins yet at South Carolina.

Here's another thought: What's it say about the ACC? And what's it say about the SEC?

Clemson is headed to the ACC championship game next week, while South Carolina is just trying to stay out of the bottom half of the SEC.
