Florida running back Matt Jones will be back on the football field against Miami, and he wont' be held back in the least. The 226-pound sophomore could get as many as 25 carries on Saturday, according to UF offensive coordinator Brent Pease.

Jones was cleared to play late last month after recovering from a viral infection, but Florida decided not to rush things and chance a relapse, instead targeting Week 2 for his return.

Pease told reporters in Gainesville, Fla., that he was confident Jones could handle the sudden comeback, saying that, "He'll know the game plan."

Jones ran for 275 yards and three touchdowns last season behind departed starting tailback Mike Gillislee.

Florida's ground game didn't suffer without Jones in the season opener this past weekend, as Mack Brown and Co. ran for 262 yards and two touchdowns against Toledo.
