The 2009 Associated Press All-SEC team has a serious Alabama flavor to it.

Nick Saban was named coach of the year. Running back Mark Ingram was named offensive player of the year, while linebacker Rolando McClain was named defensive player of the year.

Freshman of the year honors went to Vanderbilt running back/return specialist Warren Norman.

Other Alabama players being named first-team All-SEC were guard Mike Johnson, nose guard Terrence Cody, cornerback Javier Arenas, safety Mark Barron and kicker Leigh Tiffin.

Florida had six first-team selections -- quarterback Tim Tebow, guard Mike Pouncey, center Maurkice Pouncey, tight end Aaron Hernandez, defensive end Carlos Dunlap and cornerback Joe Haden.

Linebacker Brandon Spikes was left off the first team, but earned second-team honors.

Ingram, McClain and Cody were all unanimous selections along with Tennessee safety Eric Berry and South Carolina outside linebacker Eric Norwood.
