Mark Ingram Sr. breaks his silence

Mark Ingram Sr., the father of Alabama running back Mark Ingram, has granted his first interview, and it will appear on the "CBS Evening News" on Friday night.

The elder Ingram, who played for the New York Giants, is currently in a correctional facility in Queens, N.Y., awaiting sentencing for skipping bail late last year on charges of bank fraud and money laundering. He was originally sentenced to more than seven years in prison.

Ingram talks to his father frequently by phone, but will be able to visit with him this weekend while attending the Heisman Trophy ceremonies.
