Here's a statistic the LSU fans will just love.

With his 27-21 win over LSU in overtime last weekend, Alabama coach Nick Saban ran his winning streak to 12 straight games at Tiger Stadium.

How, you ask?

He won his last 10 at home as LSU's coach during the 2003 and 2004 seasons before leaving for the NFL. Then as the Miami Dolphins' coach, he led the Dolphins to a 21-6 victory over the New Orleans Saints in 2005 at Tiger Stadium. The Saints played several of their home games at Tiger Stadium that season after damage done by Hurricane Katrina made the Superdome unplayable.

Then the 12th straight win came last Saturday as Alabama's coach, keeping the Crimson Tide No. 1 in the BCS standings.

As a disclaimer, don't blame me, LSU fans, for digging up this nugget. The credit (or blame) goes to veteran LSU reporter Glenn Guilbeau of Gannett News Service.
