Some of the big announcements are yet to come Wednesday, but it appears that Georgia has lost a couple of key players with Alabama and Tennessee both gaining one each.
According to ESPN's Scouts Inc., the Bulldogs have had two players decommit here at the last minute. Cornerback Nickell Robey of Frostproof, Fla., is now headed to Southern California, while receiver Da'Rick Rogers of Calhoun, Ga., is headed to Tennessee.
Rogers' official announcement comes at 9:45 a.m. at a signing ceremony at his high school. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is also reporting that the two longtime Georgia commitments have bailed on the Bulldogs.
Scouts Inc. is reporting that offensive guard Arie Kouandjio of Hyattsville, Md., will sign with Alabama. The 6-foot-5, 320-pound Kouandjio is rated by Scouts Inc. as the 14th-best guard prospect in the country. He had narrowed his choices to Southern California and New Mexico.
Meanwhile, LSU has pried receiver Kadron Boone of Ocala, Fla., away from Texas Tech, according to ESPN's Gerry Hamilton. Boone is now prepared to sign with the Tigers.
