Mississippi State and Ole Miss each came away with a top in-state prospect on signing day.
Two of the most coveted undeclared players in that state were offensive tackle Damien Robinson of Olive Branch and receiver Vincent Sanders of Columbus.
Robinson announced he was signing with Mississippi State, while Sanders said he was headed to Ole Miss.
The 6-foot-7, 320-pound Robinson was rated the 10th best offensive tackle prospect in the country by ESPN's Scouts Inc. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Sanders was rated the 56th best receiver prospect.
And if you're keeping count in that state, Mississippi State now has six of the top 15 prospects, including three of the top four, while Ole Miss has five of the top 15 prospects.
