'College GameDay' headed to the Grove

ESPN’s College GameDay is headed to the Grove next Saturday.

For the first time in the pregame show’s history, it will visit Oxford, Mississippi, and make camp inside a sea of tents in the heart of one of college football’s most iconic tailgating spots when No. 10 Ole Miss (4-0, 1-0 SEC) hosts No. 3 Alabama (4-0, 1-0).

The Rebels are 4-0 for the first time since 1970 and were a popular presason pick to be a darkhorse contender in the SEC Western Division. The favorite? Well, that would be Alabama, which is coming off of a blowout win over Florida and will be well rested after getting a perfectly timed bye week.

The last time Ole Miss beat Alabama was in 2003 ... when Eli Manning was the Rebels' quarterback.
