2011 commitments looking elsewhere

A trio of 2011 recruits who had previously committed to LSU and Tennessee are now looking elsewhere.

According to ESPN Recruiting., tight end Eric MacLain of Fayetteville, N.C., has withdrawn his commitment from Tennessee. MacLain is an ESPNU 150 Watch List member and has offers from numerous schools, including North Carolina, Clemson, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

Also, LSU has a couple of 2011 commitments with wandering eyes. Runnng back Jarvis Landry of Lutcher, La., has softened his commitment to LSU and is now considering Oklahoma, Florida State, Auburn, Tennessee and Ole Miss among others.

Receiver Jeremy Hill of Baton Rouge, La., plans to visit Alabama this weekend and Florida State the following weekend. Hill said he hasn't decommitted from LSU, but is just looking around to see if there's a better situation out there for him. Oregon, Miami and Ole Miss are also possibilities.

Landry and Hill are both ESPNU 150 Watch List prospects.
