Arkansas' Jonathan Luigs is a finalist to win his second straight Rimington Trophy as the most outstanding center in college football, but his stiffest competition may come from his own conference.
Alabama's Antoine Caldwell is also one of the six finalists and has already been named the center on the AFCA's All-America team. The Rimington Trophy winner is determined by the consensus All-America pick at center from four All-America teams -- AFCA, Walter Camp, Sporting News and Football Writers Association of America.
The other four finalists are also seniors: California's Alex Mack, Penn State's A.Q. Shipley, Oregon's Max Unger and Louisville's Eric Wood.
The winner will be announced on the ESPNU/Home Depot College Football Awards Show on Dec. 11 on ESPN.
