We already know that Alabama's Julio Jones is a fantastic receiver and one of the toughest players in all of college football to handle one-on-one.
He was easily one of the most talented freshmen in the country last season and returns as one of the best players in the SEC in 2009.
Turns out he's also added a little student government duty to his repertoire.
Ian Rapoport of The Birmingham News reports that Jones accepted the position of Student Government Association senator. Jones wasn't actively seeking the position, but he received enough write-in votes to secure one of four seats in the College of Human Environmental Sciences.
So from now on, we'll refer to Jones as Sen. Jones.
