Mississippi State's annual Maroon-White spring game on April 9 will be carried live by CSS at 6 p.m. ET and include a familiar face in the broadcast booth.

Former coach Jackie Sherrill will serve as the color analyst. Mississippi State assistant athletic director Bart Gregory will handle the play-by-play.

Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen is challenging fans to eclipse the 40,000 attendance mark again this season.

"Our fans, with the way they've come out and supported it, have made the Maroon-White game a huge annual event," Mullen said. "And now, putting it on live television is just another sign that people are recognizing Mississippi State and the progress we've made and what we plan to keep building."
