Setting Georgia's home record straight
By ESPN.com staff
In my post Thursday on how SEC teams had fared at home over the past five years, I was a bit too generous to Georgia.
The Bulldogs were 5-2 at home in 2009 and not 5-0 as listed in the chart we ran. Just a typo, and I promise that my ball security will be better once the season begins. We have since corrected the chart.
Georgia lost to both LSU and Kentucky at Sanford Stadium that season and is 26-8 (.765) at home over the past five seasons, placing the Bulldogs fifth in the SEC during that span just behind Auburn (.769).
Thanks to those of you who pointed out this mistake.
