Missouri jumps into signing class top 25
By Chris Low
ESPN recruiting expert Tom Luginbill has updated his signing class rankings after Wednesday morning’s flurry, and one of the big movers was Missouri jumping into the top 25.
The Tigers snared receiver Dorial Green-Beckham of Springfield, Mo. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound Green-Beckham is rated by ESPN as the No. 1 receiver prospect in the country and the No. 3 prospect overall.
Alabama, with 13 ESPNU 150 players in this class, remains No. 1, but Florida State has moved to No. 2 nationally.
Florida is No. 4, but Luginbill said Georgia is making a hard charge at No. 5.
Four other SEC teams are in the top 20 -- Texas A&M at No. 12, South Carolina at No. 13, LSU at No. 14 and Auburn at No. 19.
Missouri vaulted to No. 21, moving ahead of Tennessee at No. 23 and Vanderbilt at No. 25.
So, currently, ESPN’s SEC rankings would like this:
4. Texas A&M
5. South Carolina
