Chizik: Tennessee game huge indicator

Some football coaches prefer to water down the significance of what one game means.
Not Auburn's Gene Chizik. And not this week.
Auburn (4-0) goes on the road Saturday for the first time this season to face Tennessee. The Tigers are tied for the SEC lead with Florida in total offense. The Vols are third in the SEC in total defense.
"I think going to Tennessee is going to be a huge indicator of who we are, not just this month, but for the rest of the year," Chizik said Tuesday.
This won't be the first time Chizik and first-year Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin have matched wits. Chizik was the defensive coordinator on the 2005 Texas team that beat Southern California in the Rose Bowl for the national championship. Kiffin was the Trojans' offensive coordinator.
The Longhorns won 41-38 in a memorable showdown that many consider to be one of the greatest games in college football history.
"It was an exciting game, but the memories aren't very good because we lost," Kiffin said.
