The SEC is represented in the 2010 College Football Hall of Fame class by Arkansas center Ronnie Caveness, LSU halfback Jerry Stovall and Alabama coach Gene Stallings.

One thing that should be noted is that when Caveness played for the Hogs from 1962-64, they were members of the old Southwest Conference.

Stovall won the Walter Camp Award in 1962, playing halfback, defensive back, kick returner and punter for the Tigers. He later served as LSU's head coach from 1980-83.

Stallings led the Crimson Tide to the 1992 national championship, capped by a 34-13 drubbing of Miami in the Sugar Bowl. Stallings coached at Alabama from 1990-96.
