On further review ...

I want to correct something from our All-SEC team that honored seniors only last week.

As many of you have pointed out, and I do appreciate the feedback, Auburn safety Mike McNeil was a fourth-year junior this year and does have another season of eligibility remaining. He missed all of the 2009 season with a broken leg, and that was simply an oversight on my part.

It wasn't easy finding a multitude of senior defensive backs who had big seasons this year in the SEC. But with McNeil coming back for another season, we'll slot Ole Miss safety Johnny Brown into his spot in the defensive backfield on the All-SEC seniors team. Brown finished third on Ole Miss' team with 66 total tackles and led the Rebels with five pass breakups.
