Neil Everett joined ESPN as an ESPNEWS anchor in July 2000 and currently serves as an anchor on the 11 p.m. ET and 1 a.m. ET SportsCenter. Everett came to ESPN after working for 15 years at television stations in Honolulu, Hawaii, where he progressed from roles behind the scenes to a position in front of the camera. He held the roles of assignment editor and associate producer before getting a shot as a sports anchor one weekend when the two regulars were unavailable. He also served as an assistant athletic director and sports information director at Hawaii Pacific University. A native of Spokane, Wash., Everett is a 1984 graduate of the University of Oregon, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism.
