KURT BUSCH GETS NEW CREW CHIEF:
Penske Racing welcomes one of the most respected and successful crew chiefs in NASCAR to its ranks with today's announcement that Steve Addington will head up the No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge team beginning in 2010. He will team up with driver Kurt Busch and the Miller Lite squad that is coming off a strong fourth-place finish in the 2009 series championship standings.

SIX TEAMS INTERESTED IN WANG:
ESPN MLB Insider Buster Olney reports, a number of teams have already reached out to pitcher Chien-Ming Wang to express interesting in signing the former Yankee; it's possible that he won't sign for months, according to his agent, Alan Nero. Wang, who was not tendered a contract by the Yankees by Saturday's deadline, is going through injury rehabilitation and is expected to be ready to pitch early in the season. Wang will meet with Dr. James Andrews in early January, and after returning to his homeland of Taiwan for a two-week stay, he will return to work out in Arizona.


Brandon Chillar

CHILLAR AND PACKERS AGREE TO EXTENSION:
According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, when he was a free agent, linebacker Brandon Chillar had to be talked into going to Green Bay. Now he doesn't want to leave. With his contract set to expire after this season, Chillar signed a four-year, $21 million contract extension with the Packers that includes $7 million in guaranteed money.
