Tiger Named Athlete Of The Decade
December 16, 2009 2:41 PM ET
Tiger Woods was named the AP Athlete of the Decade, and with good reason. Tiger has won 56 times on the PGA TOUR, that’s the most by a player in any decade. He also won 12 majors. Woods edged out Lance Armstrong and Roger Federer for the honor. More than half of the ballots were returned after Woods' November 27 car crash outside his Florida home.
