Back To New York?
ESPN's Jayson Stark is reporting that the Mets have looked into bringing back Pedro Martinez. The club has talked with Martinez's agent and indications are that the organization is considering bringing the 38-year-old back to the Big Apple. Martinez was 5-1 in 9 starts with the Phillies in 2009.

Illegal Use Of Ads
Michael Jordan is displeased with the way local grocery store chains Jewel and Dominick's congratulated the former Chicago Bull on his September induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Jordan claims the stores' ads, which ran in a commemorative issue of Sports Illustrated dedicated to the 6-time NBA champion, are an infringement on his trademark and business interests.

Hall Of Fame Performances
The record-setting performances by Josh Cribbs and Jerome Harrison during Sunday's 41-34 victory over the Chiefs will be immortalized in Canton. Harrison and Cribbs donated their jerseys to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Monday. Cribbs returned two kickoffs for touchdowns giving him an NFL-record 8 for his career. Harrison carried the pigskin for 286 yards to surpass Jim Brown's team single-game record of 237 yards. The items will appear in the NFL Today section of the Hall of Fame.
