California star tailback Jahvid Best will skip his senior season and enter the NFL draft. Best made the announcement Saturday, saying it was not an easy decision. Best missed the final four games of the season after a fall led to a concussion and sore back. Best entered the season as one of the most dynamic running backs in the country and a contender for the Heisman Trophy. With the Syracuse men losing today to Pitt 82-72, there are now only 4 Division I teams still unbeaten ... Kansas, Texas, Kentucky and Purdue. The Longhorns and Boilermakers will put their perfect records on the line Tuesday night when Texas visits Arkansas on ESPN2 and Purdue hosts Minnesota on ESPN. Tip time for both games is 7 Eastern.

Broncos Down Another
The Broncos will be without another wide receiver for their game Sunday against the Chiefs. A day after Coach Josh McDaniels benched Pro Bowl receiver Brandon Marshall and tight end Tony Scheffler for disciplinary reasons, with a playoff berth at stake, the team has ruled Eddie Royal out as well. Royal is still recovering from the neck injury he suffered two weeks ago against Oakland. The team on signed receiver Matt Willis from the practice squad.
