Shanahan Named Redskins Coach

Mike Shanahan is the new coach of the Washington Redskins. As expected Dan Snyder got his man. The deal is reportedly for 5 years and $7 million. This according to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The former Broncos coach will also serve as exective VP of football operations with the Washington Redskins. In 14 seasons in Denver Shanahan was 138-86 and won two Super Bowls (XXXII, XXXIII).
