Saints Tailback Reggie Bush missed another day of practice with some swelling in his left knee, leaving his status for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay in doubt. Bush's left knee -- the same one he's had multiple issues with over the past two years -- apparently took a pounding on a few plays last Sunday at St. Louis, which led to the swelling and soreness.

The best soccer player in America is now the best in Major League Soccer. Los Angeles forward Landon Donovan has been named the 2009 MLS most valuable player after helping lead the Galaxy to the MLS Cup finals for the first time since 2005. Despite all the accolades he's garnered, this is the first time Donovan has won the top award in MLS.

Portis has not been able to practice since he was injured in a helmet-to-helmet hit against Atlanta. Ladell Betts is set to start for Portis for the second consecutive week.
