Chile's Athletes, Coaches To Skip Olympics Closing Ceremony

Most of Chile's athletes and coaches are planning to skip the Olympic closing ceremonies following a magnitude-8.8 earthquake that has devastated their country. Team spokesman Luis Alberto Santa Cruz said that the athletes and coaches are trying to get home from Vancouver as soon as possible because of the quake. Santa Cruz says that some of the coaches and athletes have been able to reach family and so far, they have found out that their loved ones are fine. Some are still trying to make contact.

#2 Wildcats Can't Pull It Out

#17 Tennessee watched #2 Kentucky erase a 19-point lead, but J.P. Prince wouldn't let the game slip away. With 90 seconds left, he scored on a broken play and added four clutch free throws down the stretch to lift Tennessee past the Wildcats 74-65.

Tomorrow's Another Day

We'll have to wait a day to see how Shaquille O'Neal's thumb is doing ... The Cavs decided to wait until they get back from the road trip for O'Neal to have an MRI and confirm just how bad the injury is. The team is scheduled to fly home Saturday. The Cavaliers center missed Friday's game at Toronto after suffering a sprained right thumb Thursday night in Boston when he was smacked on the hand by Celtics forward Glen Davis during a shot attempt. Cavs coach Mike Brown said doctors have defined it as a "severe" sprain, and the team's official injury report called it "significant." Either way, it doesn't sound good.
