Broncos tender Marshall at 1st Round Level
The Denver Broncos tendered restricted free agent WR Brandon Marshall at the 1st round level. That means if another team agrees to a contract with the disgruntled receiver, the Broncos would be entitled to either match the offer or receive a 1st round pick as compensation. Marshall has caught over 100 passes in each of the last 3 seasons and is only 26 years old. The Broncos also tendered Pro Bowl LB Elvis Dumervil at the 1st and 3rd round tender level, the highest level a team can go. Dumervil led the NFL last season with 17 sacks.

Colts QB Peyton Manning underwent a procedure Tuesday to relieve pain in his neck. Manning had been suffering from intermitent pain in his neck due to a pinched nerve for four years though it never affected his performance or his training. After a post-season evaluation, doctors determined it would be best to resolve the problem. He is not expected to miss any of the team's off season activities.
