ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that in a move equivalent to Emmitt Smith finishing his career in Arizona, LaDainian Tomlinson will finish his career in New Jersey. Tomlinson and the Jets reached agreement Sunday on a two-year deal, according to an NFL source. Tomlinson spent Thursday with the Vikings, Friday with the Jets and Saturday flying to his home in San Diego. Before he left New York, Tomlinson told some within the Jets organization that he soon would return. He kept his word. After employing Brett Favre two seasons ago, the Jets will employ Tomlinson this season. Who knew, but had Favre wanted to play with Tomlinson, Favre should have stayed in New York.

Brady Quinn Traded To Broncos
The Denver Broncos have acquired quarterback Brady Quinn from the Cleveland Browns in exchange for fullback Peyton Hillis, a sixth-round pick in 2011 and a conditional pick in 2012. The Browns agreed to terms on a two-year deal with quarterback Jake Delhomme on Saturday. Delhomme was released by the Carolina Panthers last week.
Rachel Alexandra vs. Zenyatta Off
The owner of Rachel Alexandra says his Horse of the Year won't run against unbeaten Zenyatta next month in Arkansas. Jess Jackson said his 4-year-old star filly is not up to top form following her second-place finish in Saturday's New Orleans Ladies . Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta were making their first starts of the year in what were supposed to be prep races for their highly anticipated first-time showdown in the Apple Blossom in April.
