Nets Approaching History in Futility
November 29, 2009 7:30 PM ET
Lawrence Frank's tenure with the Nets ends with a 17-game losing streak. The good news for Frank is that it's NOT the longest skid by a coach at the end of his tenure with a team. That record belongs to Bill Musselman, who lost his final 19 games as the Cavs' coach during the 1981-82 season. The Nets are, however, just two losses away from breaking the All-Time NBA record for losses to start a season. Their next two opponents are the LA Lakers (12-3) and Dallas Mavericks (12-5).
